this GBH burst from cover behind some cattails, and caught me a bit flatfooted. all i had time to do was point the camera and get something resembling a focus lock... didn't have time to back off the zoom, but i decided i kinda liked the cropped image... it looks like his wingtip is almost brushing my lens, and gives a strong sense of being "on top of the action"...

Wow. I hope to be that good when getting caught "flatfooted." I have a hard enough time with GBHs when not flatfooted. Your image is nice and sharp!

I like the image as is also as it does show a lot of action, and I think it is giving your lens a bit of a touch up.....:D
