sendtosmugmug starting complaining when I try to upload too many jpg-s...the msg is 'Windows cannot access the specified deviced, path, or file.....'
If i keep the number to approx 30 everything works fine.

If i try to drag too many bytes to the smugmug uploader i get an error msg about too many bytes.

So my question is:

is there a way to start a big upload (250+ full size jpgs) and just let it run ?

I wonder if the program is having issues due to new updates? I just uploaded large sets of pics (250+) about 2 weeks ago... maybe post to the thread for this on the "hacks" board?

I've uploaded as many as 800 3mg jpegs. It takes 24 hours and usually crashes a couple of times, so I have to restart my upload, but I manage to get it done. Frustrating, I need faster upload speeds.

I pushed like 3000 ~3mb jpg's up last weekend... I have a kick butt dedicated work machine and I break the uploads into gallery sized chunks. So it wasnt 3000 all in one shot. I get faster upload speeds if I have like 10-15 threads running all pushing files. Either my ISP or Smugmug bandwith limits per connection. Anyways... easy way around that is multi-threaded uploads. Also, if one happens to crash on you, you dont have to start over.

One thing I have noticed about send-to-smugmug is that its a page-file whore! It chews it up like nobodies business. I have like 2gb ram on that box and the pagefile frequently will hit over 1GB during upload.
