BIG uploads

sendtosmugmug starting complaining when I try to upload too many jpg-s...the msg is 'Windows cannot access the specified deviced, path, or file.....'
If i keep the number to approx 30 everything works fine.

If i try to drag too many bytes to the smugmug uploader i get an error msg about too many bytes.

So my question is:

is there a way to start a big upload (250+ full size jpgs) and just let it run ?

    Yes:
    http://www.starexplorer.com/

also, allows you to set up the upload, and it will automatcially shut down your PC when it is done..great for overnight uploads.

    (I do sound like a shill, don't I?)

That is smugmug..it has an 8mb file size limit, per photo, depending on what kind of acct you have:

    From Help:

The current size limitations on all file types are:

    * 8 megabytes for standard and power users
    * 16 for pros
    * 48 megapixels for all users

    Thanks!

And, btw, S*E is configurable. You can adjust it yourself in the Preferences. Not that it would let you to overcome SM limits, but it would sure let you choose your own under it.

    Randy,
What seemed to be the problem? Error message? Can you check the log, please?
    Thank you!

    PS
In case you have SM Pro, please set S*E Size Limit to 16Mb in the Optionsdeal.gif

    Then it's simply a default 8MB size limit. deal.gif
Please open the Options (Ctrl+F11), locate the size limit and adjust to your liking...mwink.gif
