Olmsted Point his is one of my favorite spots along the Tioga Road. This is Mount Conness in the background, one of my favorite hikes too! The skies were blue and hardly a cloud in the sky....too bad, I like clouds for photography. I decided to convert this into a Black and White using CS2 and Channel Mixer and a few other "goodies".
I think it went well!

I am lucky to be so close! Me and the family are going back on Monday for the day. This time we are just having a picnic in the "Valley", probably at Mirror Lake.

Honestly, this was just a "snap shot" because I just bought my new lens and I just wanted to shoot something. I didn't "like" the color version, so I converted to B/W and then WOW...I loved it. I made a frame just playing around in PS, but I generally us a simple 3px black "frame".
