Dubrovnik, Croatia
I'm not sure how much Croatia is on people's radar wrt traveling there for vacation. It should be way up there if it isn't already. Dubrovnik is a crazy good town for photographers. Here are a couple panos of the old walled city:

I've been to Dubrovnik...some 18 years ago! Of course it was Yugoslavia then. They had a seige in the city that next year and I remember watching some of the coverage on TV. I was afraid they'd do damage to that gorgeous, ancient town. Good to see it's still as beautiful as ever.

And I'm glad to see panoramas - not many people take the time to actually shoot them. Well done!

Great panos Mike! Makes me want to sell everything and go!
I really do want to go to Croatia, maybe next year. As a travel location it's become one of the hot places for smart travelers I'm told because of its beautiful locations and still reasonable prices. Last time I checked it hadn't switched to the Euro.

I've been through Europe a few times and been to a few walled cities. But I never had Dubrovnik on my radar. It is now!
Thanks for sharing these wonderful images of an amazing looking place. Nice work!

The old town, Cavtat, is really beautiful. Great shots. We had coffee at the little cafe you took images of. The scenery there is one of my favorites. Yes, the walled cities of Europe are really worthwhile seeing. Easy to take 100's of images there.
