Bath, England

In the fall of 2005, I visited my daughter in Bath, England. She was doing a semester abroad from her college in the US. It was late October and the weather was unseasonable warm and dry. Temperatures in the 70's F and, while cloudy a lot, only one day where it rained (and that was when I was in London). I had gotten the Nikon D70 only a month before the trip so these are not as polished as I would like but I was still able to come home with lots of memories. :photo

If you ever visit Bath, get a tin full from Ben's Cookies. Yum-Yum! :D

The program my daughter was in is very popular. She meet people from all over the world. She keeps talking about going back there to work. She's into Victorian history and felt quite at home in Bath.

Bath is beautiful. Great images, they do a good job of demonstrating what the feel of the city is.

it's from where I come from - moved here in 1990 - after meeting my wife who was going to school in for a semester in a (then) new pilot program from San Jose State.

We met in a nightclub the day before Valentines day's, 6 weeks later got engaged in Paris, "dated" back and forth for two years and got married in 1990..

Actually the name of the city is derived from the Roman/Celtic name of Aqua Sulis and was a popular retreat and rest for Roman dignitaries
