    Excellent shots Glen. So precise, amazing.
    Egrets are so interesting to watch [if we have the time to wait them out lol]. I love the young ones how they gobble. They sound like a turkey, lol.

    No egrets in my part of the world. They are gorgeous. The first one looks like he's running the high hurdles at the egret olympics. Thanks so much for posting these. Absolutely gorgeous!

    Because these are Snowy Egrets, the ones with black feet and yellow beaks are Great Egrets.

    Thanks Wally! I'm in California, and the egrets with the yellow feet, and black bills are Snowy Egrets. The are significantly smaller than the Great Egret which has all black legs and a yellow bill. Both are common here.

    A Snowy Egret and a Green Heron
    At San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary, Irvine CA( actually by the river near SJWS)
    Not sure what kind of fish the egret was shooting.ne_nau.gif
