I don't see it. I'm disappointed, too, because I love nursing pics!
Thanks, Jan I love nursing pics, too!
I received a kind, concerned email about the picture and a heads up that dgrin counts some younger folks among its membership. I'm new here, and wasn't aware of that. My kids are all familiar with nursing, but I don't want my first posts here to be shouted from my soapbox so I respectfully removed the picture.
That said, I'm very interested in C&C on the shot - both with regard for composition AND how I can better edit it. I'm new to digital photography, having spent the past 17 years in film (trying to resist the digital lure!) I've recently succumbed. I'm also not much for b/w pictures but it seemed a better choice than color for some reason. Helpful hints on how to make this a better b/w much appreciated also. Her fingers look a bit off, no?
Here is a LINK to it. Thanks in advance for any input!
I'm no expert in critiquing (did I spell that right?) but with the warning you put in and all, it would be fine posted inline here.
The only critique I will give, is that the reflecting line (piece of metal? or reflecting cloth?) and the part attached to it in the center/top behind the two people is a bit distracting. If could have gotten the shot without that, it might have looked better. Cool conversion.
