Bird Of Paradise

NOT a Harry kind of bird .this is at it's best a few months back someone had posted one and ask what it was .this is when they are at the peak 2 blue and 3 or 4 orange .it reaLLY IS A GREAT FLOWER

    I like how the curved palms OOF really give a great background to the "bird" too.

    Dee thank you, i have tried to get a pic that i liked for a few months that gave a nice look at the bird ,here is the other one I shot was not sure of the 2 was the best would like a little feed back if you will for #1 or #2 ?? Jeff

    That really is a great flower and your pic ain't too shabby other. The focus is on the mark and the colors are great.

    Wow...thanks! I haven't ever seen a real bloom. My mom had that plant growing up but I don't think it ever did bloom. Nice photo!

    We saw quite a few in San Diego last week. However it looked like most were slightly past their prime.
