Backup Files from Lightroom 1.1 update

Does anyone know where the 1.1 upgrade installer puts the backup files that it creates while changing the format of the file?
On my 'puter the upgrade has been very unstable and I'd like to un-upgrade if I can find where the installer put the old db file -- unless of course it just deletes it when it's done....
Anyone else having stability problems with this monster. The changes are nice -- but not if they the program quits bombing.....
And no.... I am not having stability problems with ANY other program -- just 1.1.

welll, duh......
all I needed to do was go and load one of the backup files.....
so much for thinking inside the box....
