This is one I just got around to processing from my Seattle trip last month. If you view the large size you can see the drool in his mouth. Kind of gross.

    Thanks, yes it's a komodo. He was behind glass in a low lit room, so I had to use my ev comp and was shooting at 400mm 1/80th exp. 400 speed .

    And if I am not wrong, the saliva is what kills because it is so dirty, or some I think I was told. eek7.gifroflNice portrait.

    Stephen, you are right. It is the bacteria in the saliva that is the deadly part, not the bite, though I don't want him chewing on my leg!rolleyes1.gifroflrolleyes1.gif
