A Little Help Daddy?

Snapped this shot about a month ago. It was my neighbours son's fourth birthday, and when he couldn't blow out his candles by himself, dad decided to give him a hand :)

I changed the shot to B/W, as the cake was very colourful, taking away the focus from the people. I don't care for those shadows in the background, but it was a quick snapshot and the boy was urgently awaiting his cake, I couldn't "fuss" too much :lol3

ISO 100; portrait mode; had to use flash as not enough natural light. Converted to B/W with PSP7.

And for anyone that's interested... it was chocolate cake with ice cream cones on the side. Totally sinful... just the way I like it! :binge

    I love this photo Cosmic!

A little too contrasty for me but a great capture!

Love it!clap.gif How many times have I seen that happen and not thought to capture it. Great thinking!

The contrast doesn't bother me for what it is. You can soften it, if you want, get rid of the shadow, whatever, but the treasure of the moment........you can't make that in PS.

    Love it!
