Did a shoot of pigs today! :D
Here's a shot of one of the barns at the 118 yr old farm. It's a little too centered, but this was as wide and as far back as I could go. I think I'll be going back there for more photo opps.

The large white roof on this barn was giving me fits!

This shot was caught on the fly...thus my friend is in the background. I am very happy that I caught the pig with his ears back from his face, and I love the flowered path and barn in the back. I'm not sure I can do a very good job at cloning out my friend (I might try it), but I like the shot, none-the-less.

I entered this one for "sedate" in LPS.

This one is similar, but the pig is slightly more peppy! :D

C&C welcome! This was new territory for me, and any PP tips are welcome too!

I think you did a nice job. I like the 2nd and the last the most.

Tha distance between the pic and your friend in the 2nd makes the pig look huge.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Dick.

I think you did a fine job. When I was a child, early teens, I actually raised pigs while a member of FFA, Future Farmers of America. They are very smart animals.

Oh my goodness they are so cute! I remember seeing you ask about pig shots, and these turned out better than I could have imagined. You did well with the lighting bringing out the bristly whiskers all over them, and they look so happy.

I used to live in a part of town known as "Pigtown" and every year on our street they would have a festival celebrating with a herd of baby pigs running down the cobblestones. I remember how difficult it was to get a good shot of the buggers. You did a great job! :)

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I was a little nervous about what I'd see on the screen because of the difficult shadows. I did have to do some real tweaking, but I was happy with the end results and so was my friend.

Great Pigs ... and a good job. Go for the clone ... that is such a classic photo of the pig prancing along a flowered path. Pigs in myd ... what's not to like.
