I was just surfing around and spotted a topic on RAW format.
Since my S3IS is not capable of shooting in RAW format, I looked around and found a site which updates my firmware and enables me shoot a RAW format on S3IS.

I was wondering how safe it is to use that update. Though it says that once you power down the camera, you go back to your original firmware, but I am not sure.

So

Do i Play around with the firmware ?

Is it safe ?

Has anyone out here tried it ?

if someone can suggest, it will ge great...and ....NO......I cant afford to buy a new camera. :)
