Rachel is a friend of my step-son and is 17. She is very sweet girl. I decided to take few shots of her. Of course, all these and more going to end up on "myspace" :rolleyes

Pictures look kind of light on my screen, i don't know what am i doing wrong here. :scratch

I'd agree, the last one is a great shot and one for the family album. I found the composition of the first two a little distracting but still technically good photos.

Thank you h4, did you find background to be somewhat distracting, or my crop job didn't work? lol

It was more the crop but it's all down to personal opinion, they are great shots and really show the model well. I guess I'm just a non-crop kind of guy so please take no offence from my comment.

I agree on third shot.....very nice. The composition and crop on the others looks fine to me also, however what bothers me is that it looks like the eyes arent in focus in either one. At least they don't appear to be the sharpest area of the photos.

Thanks Jeff for your comment. I agree, i found all three pics to be somewhat very soft in focus. My fault, i need to pay attention and stop wiggling Laughing.gif

I use a monopod. It helps stabalize the camera, and gives you a good plant at your feet to maintain your distance.
