it doesnt even look like a d200 in the picture... and its a cheaper 3rd party one... I would stay away from it and just wait for the nikon grip... I mean... its not like you cant shoot without it :p.

Well, it's up to you... but I'll still stick to my guns and say that Nikon is ENGINNERED for Nikon. These guys may work, but if you have problems, Nikon can't help and Targus doesn't make just electronics... they also make bags and numerous other things. eek7.gif

If you have a little patience and get what's engineered for Nikon, I think you'll be happier in the long run... thumb.gif

I don't have the one for Nikon, but I did get the Battery Grip from Targus for my XTi. It was less than half as much as the Canon so I decided to try it. I've had it for about 4 months, and it has worked perfectly. Unless you look closely it could be a aprt of the camer instead of an add on. It connects very tightly to the camera so there is NO wiggle between the Grip and Camera. The rubber part feels great, and the Vertical controls are well placed and work perfectly.

This is rumor, but I have even heard that the Targus grips come from teh same factory as the Canon's and are just rebranded for Trargus. That is probably wrong, but who knows. Overall I am VERY happy with my Targus grip.

Just my 2 cents, and we both know how much that is worth! thumb.gif
