    The second one has potential the biggest problem I have with it is the curve of the rocks move the eye off the frame. Next time you're there put the largest rock down in the bottom left hand corner so that the eye will follow the curve up through the image.

    My wife on the otherhand says she likes how grass complements the curve of the rocks and likes it the way it is.

    I agree with Philip's wife - the sweep of the rocks, together with the sweep of the grass, shadow at the edge of the grass and clouds makes for a strong and unusual composition.
