Well, I guess this is going to happen whether I let it happen gracfully or if I kick and scream all the way. My oldest daughter will be graduating high school next year. I promised her that we could do poses at any and all locations she chooses, and these are our first attempts and location. She likes to argue with me while I photograph, and I tell her other peoples kids give me less problems.....but in the end......the little bit I know about cameras added with her natural good looks makes for some striking photos. I am hoping to do several more location shoots with her so she will have plenty of poses to choose from. These will also be samples for her friends to decide if they want me to take their SR pics.
Well here we go....c&c is always welcomed.
1. This is my least favorite, and also the one I wanted to turn out the best. The columns and lighting were beautiful, and I was ok with the pose, but I needed a reflector that I didn't have, and in trying to make up for that in PP I became disatisfied with the image.
2. I love the light here. She says this is a natural looking pose. I want to see har hands.

Makes me sad to know that I only have 14 years before my oldest will be out of high school, and I know I'll blink my eyes only twice before it seems to happen!

14 years?......lol I wish I had 14 years!!! My son also will graduate college next year and they baby of the family will be a sophmore in HS. I am thinking...weren't we just potty training and learning to ride bikes?
Life goes by....at the speed of light.

I'd like to see her hands, too ... or barring that, a less angular posing of her arms. But it is still a great composition, and I really like her expression. In fact, it's my favorite of the ones you posted because I really like how you captured her expression.
It's hard seeing them grow up...

She has ceased to be a baby girl and has become a beautiful woman. And
you've captured her beauty very well, indeed. Thank you for sharing
wonderful images of a beautiful woman.
