Well, I guess this is going to happen whether I let it happen gracfully or if I kick and scream all the way. My oldest daughter will be graduating high school next year. I promised her that we could do poses at any and all locations she chooses, and these are our first attempts and location. She likes to argue with me while I photograph, and I tell her other peoples kids give me less problems.....but in the end......the little bit I know about cameras added with her natural good looks makes for some striking photos. I am hoping to do several more location shoots with her so she will have plenty of poses to choose from. These will also be samples for her friends to decide if they want me to take their SR pics.

Well here we go....c&c is always welcomed.

1. This is my least favorite, and also the one I wanted to turn out the best. The columns and lighting were beautiful, and I was ok with the pose, but I needed a reflector that I didn't have, and in trying to make up for that in PP I became disatisfied with the image.

2. I love the light here. She says this is a natural looking pose. I want to see har hands.

Beautiful shots and beautiful girl. #5 is definitely my favorite. You're off to a great start!

Makes me sad to know that I only have 14 years before my oldest will be out of high school, and I know I'll blink my eyes only twice before it seems to happen!

She IS a beautiful girl ~ what a special shoot for the the two of you, quibbles and all ;)

I'd like to see her hands, too ... or barring that, a less angular posing of her arms. But it is still a great composition, and I really like her expression. In fact, it's my favorite of the ones you posted because I really like how you captured her expression.

I like that one as well. I don't mind not seeing the hands but wish her elbow was not cut off on the right. Otherwise they are all gogeous. I have 12 years until my girls graduation!

Hmmmm may have saved No.1 with a BW conversion, I will have to think on it awhile. I also did two others in monotone.

Sorry, mate. I hate to be the one to point this out, but that is no baby girl.
She has ceased to be a baby girl and has become a beautiful woman. And
you've captured her beauty very well, indeed. Thank you for sharing
wonderful images of a beautiful woman.

Beautiful photograph of a beautiful young lady. Of course, she will always be your little girl, not matter how old. Well done! thumb.gif
