access to .mg module code?

Is there any place where one might peruse the code for some of the .mg modules? In particular, I've seen a number of people ask about modifications to the daterange.mg (reversing the order) and popular (limiting the number of images returned) and I'd be curious to see if I could make a contribution to that effort.
