In winter, ducks are pretty much all I get to shoot as well. Once the ponds and smaller lakes to the north start to freeze up, the divers all head to the harbours and rivers along the shore of Lake Ontario. Until they freeze up, we get a lot of shooting in. As long as we can tolerate the cold and wind, it's a blast.
