David, these is a good shot. However, to my idiotic taste, i would love to see a stem ne_nau.gif Flower appears to be floating in space, and i don't think this type of subject (flowers) should be floating. Ok, consider me weird :help

But, hey, thanks for commenting, too. thumb.gif My intent was to make it look unconstrained.

Like it - funny I miss being able to see the centre of the flower but that may be the resolution I'm seeing.

It's different .... I see what Brian means about not being able to see the centre of the flower, looks like your going to insert something like a face in it maybe?

I like the light you've used for this shot David thumb.gif .... Skippy

I think it's more interesting this way. The orginal had the stem in the center, which made for a less pleasing composition.

    Cheers,

Brian, thanks for the comments. You are not missing the center as it's not there. A bit of curve, some dash of hue/saturation, and a just a smidgen of color balance and selective color tossed in for taste and the stem and center disappeared. I liked it.

I thank you for the comments, Skippy. I think it looks something like a black hole.

    Cheers,

Hey Richard. Thanks for looking and commenting. I wasn't too pleased with the other one, either. It was nice, but somewhat normal and didn't pop.
