Oh yeah, only 11 and 15 had any editing done. I used D-lighting (low) on 11, and darkened up 15 with the brightness in PP. The rest are as shot out of my D80 with 18-135mm lens. Only resized in PP from full 10mp .jpegs. :D

It's hard to choose, but FWIW, #4 is my favorite.

You have so many great shots. I still like #2 the best. When I saw it in the entry thread, my first response was, "Oh... beautiful!" clap.gif Being a color addict, it quenched my thirst for color while communicating the explosive light. My second favorite is the fireworks with the city in the background. It caught my attention and made me want to linger.thumb.gif

number 10 and 13 are the best... IMHO I would choose one of those for the contest entry... They are not as colorful as number 2 but they make up for it in their uniqueness... If they were mine I would submit 10...

Winston:D good luck, some really great fire works shots...

I vote for #11. It's more interesting because of the background it includes. Very nice!thumb.gif

Thanks for the feedbacl everyone. I still used #2, but it was no match against the LPS8 entries. :cry

Next year I will get there at an earlier time and position myself to where I can get the entire city skyline in the shot with the fireworks. :D

    Thanks again!
