Spent time on the NC coast...just lovely and great. Did some IR shots and I'm trying to post my two favorite.

Both are from Cape Lookout - one of the beach and one of the lighthouse.

Splendid time - "y'all oughtta come on down and set a while..."

Beautiful, especially the Lighthouse image. I miss that coastline!!! Spent many summers as a kid in Bogue Sound area, Okracoke Island (sp?), and northern outer banks in North Carolina as well as Pawley's Island, South Carolina. Brings back many happy memories. Thanks for sharing! :D

Gots to get me back to a coastal 300-year-old graveyard sprawled beneath twisted, live oaks draped in spanish moss in the moonlight. Hmmm, or broad daylight IR. Seems I remember a perfect candidate in Beaufort, N.C. mwink.gif

The lighthouse image has a wonderful bright mood, great stylethumb.gif I would like it better if the lighthouse were not dead center.

Hi Mike these both have that old time look about them,
Did a nice job on that lighthouse.... I see Marc has mentioned moving away from the centre......what is it about the centre that we love???

Man I find myself doing the same thing, it's a hard habit to break I tell you!

Lovely work Mike clap.gif ... Skippy

Thanks everyone. I do need to consider the 3rds more often - it would have made for more drama 4sure.

Its kind of funny...I looked at all my photos of the lighthouse both visible and IR and all are centered...too bad I missed a great opportunity for some nice composition.

Hey Mike, I'm sure that light will be there for a while.

Yeah, but how long will I and my index finger be around to capture it?
