I'm sure there are some folks here who saw these images on another forum(sorry), but I thought I would use them here for my first image post. How is this for a time shooting of boxing? This was intense. I got blood on my shirt and you can see spit/sweat flying even in my 30D. I thought it was dust on my sensor, but remembered that I checked the sensor with test shots. Image #1 the fight was called a draw since both women were beat up and bleeding. Again this is my first time shooting boxing. This is first time shooting at 1000 ISO. Take a look at #7. The boxer looks as if she has a 15lb test leader coming out of her mouth but it's saliva of course. ha ha! The lighting on this ring was like butta!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I put these up a while ago, but no one made any comments. I was pleased with the results and now I am ready for my next card. The shots ended up on a couple of wire services that specialize in fight shots. Even if no photo sells, I am happy that my work got exposure to magazines for a potential sale.

    Renay,
Wow these are powerful shots. Excellent Job. I recently shot my first boxing event as well, and while I definitley think yours are more dramatic, I was wondering about your wire service comment. How did you submit them? If you could explain that process I'd be extremly grateful.

If you would like to see my shots, you can look here for the main event:
