I saw the band as well.......

What amazing and stunning photos.....I tried to capture my swallows while they were nesting...it was horrid.lol.......so I let them be.

The more I see on this forum, the more inadequate I become

The parent is banded. These were taken at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine, Ca. The swallows are monitored, and banded each year.
