Just married

When I was doing Nikolai's assignment number 43 a professional photographer with one assistant, was taking pictures of a just married couple.
I asked permission to take a shot of the scene and what came out was the 1.st picture, the smallest one.
The light of the lamps was yellow and he was using a flash and a torch.
I can hardly understand how he was going to manage the white balance.
I worked two versions of the shot and the one I like most is the last one.
I couldn't master that yellow wall ! ... :scratch
I would like to have tried more shots but I didn't dare to ask.

What a wonderful setting to shoot photos.
Besides the light he is holding in his hand, was he using other lights or flash as well ???

She's a beatiful Bride, and he looks quite handsome too :D
Too bad you didn't get to see what his shots were like Antonio.

    Thanks for sharing........ Skippy :D

    Good morning Skippy.

Besides that portable light the assistante is holding, the photographer was using flash. I wonder what results he got with all that different temperature colors ...ne_nau.gif
I will not see those pictures.

He was a young man from some Portuguese military school. See the sward in the first step ?
Health, Youth and Beauty are two wonderfull moments of life !

My wife was with me and we have talked that the photo shouln' t come out very nice. The photographer suggested some positions for them which were not the best, in our opinion.

I think that most of the people are not demanding about the quality of the pictures. People don't see the yellowish tones in the pictures, the lack of sharpness and other problems the photos may have.

May be I would have asked and shot some more, more carefully, taking my time.
But I thought it could be disturbing and un-pleasant for the photographer himself. I am sure it was.mwink.gif

Thank you for commenting Skippy ! :Dthumb.gif

'Fade correction' in Corel PSP 11 would fix the white balance in this quickly. I am forced to use it alot in my long exposure shooting when the yellowing is too intense.
Enjoy your life, it's the only one you get.

    Thank you Prats.
    :D

In fact, when we are shooting RAW files this kind of correction is rather easy to do in Photoshop.

As amateur, I still have difficulty is sellecting areas in the photos.
This is a subject I have to work on.:bash

    Cheers

headscratch.gif Maybe the photographer was shooting Black & White where the handheld light would not be a color balance factor. bsvirginian

    Huummm ...

Who wants black and white pictures these days ? ne_nau.gifOnly a few people does.
    But... everything is possible.:D

Even if it was so, it would be a better investment to shoot color in case the client would change his mind ...mwink.gif
