High Quality B&W Printing Service Needed

Does anybody have a recommendation for a lab /printing service that does exceptional B&W prints from a digital file? I know of smugmug, El-Co and Mpix. These will be 12"x 18" or larger. Given the size and run, I am not considering buying a wide carriage pigment based printer at this time.

Can you show me an example of the print(s) you'll be making? ear.gif

This would be an example. It may have to be reworked to be printed larger. I usually downsize the originals before posting on my site, sharpening for web viewing.

However I have others that will probably be of much greater contrast. I need to get one of those up also.
    Thanks Andy!

If I were you, I'd try Mpix True BW deal.gif

I have ordered several large-sized prints in B&W (20x30) from MPix using their B&W paper stock, their color stock, and their metallic stock. I have never been disappointed in what I got. People love the images I have framed in my office.

I'd also throw in a vote for MPix's True B&W product... I've had several prints done by them that are excellent.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I have used Mpix before, just not for their True B&W. I have gotten large metallic prints done before and they look great. Time to try this service!
