I like #1 the best. I think some of the other poses aren't as flattering to her. The one of the tattoo on her back makes her look pudgy when she isn't (the skin rolling over her jeans) and the one of her laying on the rock looks kind of awkward. It's a beautiful location!

Haha....you're right about the tattoo....but she wanted that shot. I have another, see if it's better....

Hmm...still not very flattering, but if SHE likes it, that's all that matters! I think I am more critical than most when it comes to that type of thing.

I agree with every word ~Jan~ said. I really like number 1, but I don't think the others
    are very flattering.

If your friend wants a shot of the tattoo I'd suggest either filling the frame
with it, or simply taking the picture when she isn't bending forward. That, or
when she's wearing something other than tight jeans. Perhaps a bathing suit?

One idea-- try using the rule of thirds and not centering your subject for a couple of shots. Get her eyes in one of the upper third intersections.

Also, these photos look a little soft. Focus on the eyes and make sure they're pin sharp before pushing the shutter.

I also agree with Jan. While I know your intent was to show off the tatoo on the backside...it's still not flattering. Perhaps it's the way she's sitting...
and perhaps you could just get her to wear some low rider shorts with a more flattering blouse. Or perhaps I'm just too old to know what I'm talking about. Who knows.

Haha....I know. However this was not a planned shoot. I saw the lighting because a storm was blowing in, told Keliie, there's makeup in my bag, put it on...lol, and pulled over into the park on the way to the grocery store. No time for wardrobe changes.
I never went to school for photography or took any classes on composition. I'm just a girl onb a mission, trying to get it right:). Therefore I post here, and take all c/c very seriously, and try to do things differently the next time. I really appreciate all the tips:D .
