Well, not the killing kind of hunting...friends and I spent two days on the Olympic Peninsula Washington. Here is some of the life...

What an interesting series for one adventure! Great shots. The sea life sure is colorful, isn't it? Is the black lava? Very cool shots! thumb.gif

Thanks, I guess it could be lava rock, but either way it is a really smooth black rock that makes for great contrast with all the color plant and animal life. BTW, that black rock is slicker than snot when wet!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Excellent captures! That fawn looks as though s/he's trying so very hard to not be noticed. I've never seen anemones of that color before. eek7.gif

Thanks. Where were hiking and saw the scat and goat hair on branches so we knew he was close. We cought up to him and followed him for a while then he stopped and stood his ground. We took lots of shots but I think it may have made him mad. We backed off...he was a little grouchy. Here are some other shots.
