    (i'm so glad I didn't put my friend through hours out in the 95 degree heat trying to look sedate for nothing!)

    this was a crazy round, so many amazing entries....I am shocked and humbled.

    Wow... Before I decided to enter this contest, I had browsed through some of the previous contest pictures, and I tried to set my expectations correctly at just finishing in the top half while hoping for anything higher. I am truly stunned to have placed in the top ten among so many great entries.

    Thanks to the judges and contestants and everyone else who participates in this contest. Looking forward to becoming a regular and continuing to learn from all the great photographers on this site.

    First of all, Congratulations to all the winners clap.gif Wonderful work.

    Second, thank you to all the judges. It is hard to judge and even more so with this amount and quality of photos.

    Third, I am thrilled to have made it in the list of photos that were given some points. Not in my wildest dreams I thought I could be near there.

    ... we knew this would be a tough round. I hurried to get mine in as early as I could so I wouldn't eventually feel there was no point!

    This was my 1st LPS and I am definitely humbled. I can't get over the talent on this board. I'm glad I wasn't sitting in the judges seat!
