How much to charge for very large prints?

Hey everyone, I need some advice on selling large prints.

I recently starting selling prints of my work online, and started out by offering up to a maximum size of 10x10 inches. Because the cost of the prints is so low, the markup on these sizes is rather large, it can be greater than 10 times cost for very small prints.

I was recently contacted by someone who may be interested in purchasing 1 or 2 very large (30"x40") prints, and wants to know a ballpark price. The cost of these prints are obviously much higher, and using the same markup strategy as the smaller sizes would probably scare this potential customer away. I have seen prints for this size ranging in price anywhere from $125 to $2000 and beyond. I also have the option to offer fine art gallery wrap prints for an even higher cost.

Because I am new to the world of selling my work, I don't want to scare away my first big customer by quoting $500 for a single print. But on the other hand, I don't want to undersell myself.

Any thoughts on fair pricing of prints of this size?

Thanks in advance.
