Is anyone else suddenly (today) finding that their Smugmug shots are jumping out of their frames? and no I have not been at the gin. When I load my shot up it sits there quite normally until I mouse away and then it disappears and then reappears... a lot..:dunno

someone else was noticing gremlins earlier today... but where was it???

I'm not seeing anything weird, just highlights the large with a white frame as usual.

Ben told me to empty temp files etc and reboot and that's done the trick ... I checked Andy's site too and it did the same.. Ben thought it was a corrupt cached file.. I tend to agree as everything looks stable again.. phew.. thought I was gitten worse...

just to add to that.. I downloaded some java stuff yesterday that did'nt completely work, had bits missing or something.. so I reckon I corrupted it meself...hope it stays nice and still the symptoms are just the same as Niks..Long Javascript code appears on bar as well heres what it looked like..

    Lynn,

I just went to your galleries, they are still doing the blinking on mouse over. If you read the link I provided above you will find out that it seems to be connected to the protection being enabled.

Just thought I would let you know.

Ok, just to clarify - if you are seeing this problem: your browser is the one with the problem and not Lynn's gallery or anyone elses. You need to empty your cache and restart your browser (IE is the only one affected it seems).

FINALLY Bill Gates broke ranks with his company's long-standing and broadly published policy of no improvements to IE. A rather subdued Gates announced at the RSA conference that they will do an IE 7 but they haven't specified what it will fix.

Perhaps rumors of Gbrowser (Google's version of Firefox) pushed him over the edge, I dunno.

While Netscape had such high market share, Microsoft said the browser should be free. Later when they had a monopoly they said they shouldn't have to upgrade free software. Now that the monopoly's fading he was willing to reverse their stand.

Yeah, something I like to talk about! Normally I am pretty hard on them, but it was great news to hear that Bill and Co. got the message and started working on an IE7. I have really high hopes for it and just hope that it is more than a newer "secure" version of IE 6.
