Howdy Andy,
Been trying to help folks understand that digicam's can be used to great effect and remembered your wonderful Sony f828 photos. Do you still have some of those photos online?
Not that I don't love my DSLR's -- and particularly for people shooting. But I want folks with digicam's to be inspired that their tools are perfectly able to be used to create great art.

Try to pick out which photos were shot with a full frame DSLR , and which were shot with a Lumix DMC-Lx1 P&S without looking at the exif data first
I'll give you a hint....

I have printed images from the DMC-LX1 at 13 x 19 with pleasing results. I DO shoot RAW in the DMC-LX1 when I am serious about the outcome, not jpgs, though.... Not all P&S's will shoot RAW, of course.
I am sure Andy has even better images from an 828.
I have repeatedly emphasized that the camera is only part of the equation. Great images can be created with modern digicams. There are numerous situations where a DSLR can be a significant disadvantage to a P&S.
