So... you combine beautiful, fun people, an amazing location, spectacular light and you get an awesome shoot! I think I could have done this with my eyes closed! (But I'm glad theirs were open - they're gorgeous!)

As a note, they requested all B&W so that's why you see so many, but the first shot was in color because I just LOVE their eyes!

This pose was HIS idea! He was hilarious! Invited me for marshmallows afterwards... VERY cute!

Trying something different. Do you like this? (The kids posed themselves - I didn't do that. Tried them jumping and they were cute, but ended up in front of the parents.)

And something more traditional.

More here if you want to see 'em: http://tippiepics.smugmug.com/gallery/3136413/1/171996207#171996207

Thanks for peeking - any an all CC is VERY appreciated!!

Wonderful, Andi! Don't you love it when a shoot comes together?! I left some comments on your site. #4 shows off what a beautiful environment you live in, but the parents seem a little small to me. ne_nau.gif Maybe with different size crops they'd come forward a bit more? LOVE 1 and 2 here! Congrats on a very successful shoot! clap.gifclap.gif

    These are great!
I love this first one and the one of the little girl peeking!!!
She likes to "show" her shoulders I noticed in your gallery :)

I just did a family where the little girl insisted on pushing her tongue through the missing spots of teeth in her mouth! :)

I love all the treatments you did, but that 1st one is so GORGEOUS!!!

Elaine, the only way i could have gotten the parents larger was a longer lens... And I sold my old and and the new one isn't here yet! Laughing.gif! But I knew that was going to happen. I didnt' think I'd like it, but I actually do. But I also understand if people don't.

Thanks so much for the feedback! As always, very appreciated!

She was so cute! I love how she was standing. I did very little posing with this shoot - which was a blast. A few things could have been altered a bit in terms of how people were sitting/standing, but overall, I was very happy. The kids were both very full of energy and a LOT of fun!

    Thanks so much, Heather!

That first one is straight out of a magazine, you don't get any better than that! They are all photogenic but they obviously were very comfortable with you, and the composition/approach/lighting just WORKS.bowdown.gifOh, and doesn't the Dad look like RFK? Laughing.gif

Love the one of the boy and girl together, and the girl alone is priceless, too. The other family shots would be fine if they weren't up against that FIRST ONE! rolleyes1.gif

Awesome job, your hard work paid off. It is so gratifying when preparation meets opportunity!

Really nice Andi! Boy, this family really has some gorgeous eyes! It's one time I would say they were mistaken not to get color shots! Cute, cute kids!

They haven't seen the photos yet so we'll see. But apparently B&W is all the rage in Denver, which is where they're from. I'm going to suggest that they break the mold - at least with that first shot. Their eyes are AMAZING!!!

Anyway, thank you ALL so much! It's so exciting going into a shoot sort of "blind" and coming away with a bunch of cool shots.

Oh, and we're trying to set up a second shoot next week at their cabin for some more casual shots. Fingers crossed!! (They want a book with a variety of shots in it.)

    Thanks again!!:D

Thanks SO much, Lynne! Huge compliment coming from you! And the dad sort of DOES look like RFK! Laughing.gif!!!

As for the family shot, I have a few more I haven't worked on yet, but they still aren't quite as good as the first one. Better than the others posted here, I think, but still...

    thanks again!!

Thanks so much! I'm digging that family one and I'm glad others are, too! (I knew they'd be foreshortened, but I'm cool with it this time.)

    Thanks again!
