I would like to be able to have an mailto: link to my email in my password hint (so people that don't know the answer to my specific password question, will be able to email me easily for it...)

Anyways, I know there is a limit to the number of characters you can have in the password hint.....and I have had some problems with using html in there.

Has anyone been able to use html successfuly?

Thanks,

Ryan.

PS --- this is what smugmug help told me....
Hello Ryan,

Thanks for contacting SmugMug. I tried using a mailto link in one of my
galleries, I received strange results. When I typed in the password,
multiple new messages for my email client would open up. This was with
Firefox and Flock. I've tested the hint box and found 256 was the limit
on characters. I'm not sure why you are trying to put in a mail link,
have you thought of using the stand-by method: "Email me for the
password. roadkley at gmail.com"? You might want to ask over at dgrin to
see if anyone has come up with something that might work for you.

If you have any questions or need any help, please contact us.

Have a great day,
Rich

I agree with this suggestion. I've tried it myself and also get some strange results. Probably just as easy to do as Rich suggested.
