I thought about trying the botttom shot in Black and White and then leaving the sign in color
FWIW - I would do it all B&W. The selective colorization would, IMO, detract from the overall image. The sign is very prominant and doesn't need additional emphasis.

I'm sorta with Scott on this one, about the use of selective colouring.
Sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't.
They would all look good in B&W, and Cemeteries are also great places to shoot Infrared
What an odd place to put a sign up about children playing
