First photos with extension tubes

Not sure what the blue insect is. Somebody told me it was a "damsel fly". It looked like a small blue dragonfly and for some reason decided to oblige and pose for me!:D
Using the Canon XTi with a 100mm macro lens and the set of 3 Kenko extension lenses 12, 20, 36 mm

    Excellent start with the tubes, you just missed eye focus on the bee but the damselfly is wonderful.
    Not sure what aperture you were using but if you want more detail at the expense of DOF when using tubes around 1.5:1 or above try using F8-F11.

    Gotta love those Kenko Tubes, I take mine with me every time I go out shooting.

    Those little Damsel's photograph very nicely.

    nice macros and yes, little blue IS a Damsel fly!! or as we used to call them as kids... Sewing needles or needle bugs...lol
