Look who is back....
Havent seen these guys since the ice melted on the local lake!
PP and cropping in PS. Sharpened in ACR only, since I am ham fisted with USM.
Nikon D70, Tamron AF 200-500 at 500mm, f10, ss 1/500 sek, tripod.
Troublesome exposure and I am starting to trust the incident meter!
Edit to insert new capture from this morning:
hopefully will work.

Thanks Dick.
I'm quite excited by the opportunity to try the lens on these birds.
Whoever would have thought more than fl 500mm would be a little better.
Have to get me some waders.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Thanks Harryb. I beginning to believe about the reach thing.
