Every now and then you'll still be able to find a beautiful diamond in a mine long thought to be used up. I've lived my entire life in the Mahoning County area of Ohio and yet I never knew of this beautiful preserve.
It's entrance is not seen, nor referenced from the main roads. It's nestled between an upscale housing development and the Ohio Turnpike.
It's a good representaion of the woods of Mahoning County via the turn of the 20th Century. It's loaded with various trees, wildlife and a gorgeous trail.
