Went to the beach today (Everett Washington) and got a few pictures of some Kite Surfers. Tried to get some tricks but my 70-200 would not reach out that far. I'll have to go back soon, when it's a little more windy.

    Thanks Skippy...
Antonio, I was not in the water....Just standing on the beach. I got some of them doing tricks , but they are to far away to make it a real nice pic.
    Thanks for looking

    Jerry,

I too recently shot some kite surfing. It was a little different than my usual surfing pics and was great fun. I see you had some fun, too. Nice shots.

    Thanks!!
Those were shot with the 400/5.6L and that shoot inspired me to start using back-button focusing...big difference now.
    Happy shooting.

Great catches mate thumb.gif Sharp shots you have there.

Its a sport that is really taking off here (no pun intended) A lot of tourists get caught on the bay in summer storms & usually end up in power lines or in 3 floor apartments.

Its about the only 'newer' sport that i would love to try. A bit x-ie though...they tell me a good kite is around $2K.
