First Attempt At Horse Racing Pics

Went to the local track this afternoon to see if my camera would hold focus better than yesterday when I tried motorbike drag racing (well, the Thai version, anyway!). Overcast day but they turned out OK if a bit grainy I thought.

    Oops! Don't know what happened there. I did some email links that seemed to work OK but the site's been so slow for me that I couldn't even get in to sort things out yesterday. Here goes with the shots I meant to post.....

    They run the races here like they do the road safety - that's to say that they allow you to take a high degree of "personal responsibility" ....... ie you're on your own! Lying down with my head and camera under the guardrail didn't even raise an eyebrow from nearby guards and it was very exciting!
