Hi Y'all,

Been real busy lately as my eldest grandaughter has been spending July with us. Haven't had a chance to do any real shooting but I got a chance to review some old stuff while she was at space camp today.

Here's a series of a crested caracara observing Lent

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Ric. Jenny is keeping me hopping. We spent Thursday and Friday in Orlando and did Wet 'n Wild and Universal. After two days running around the parks and doing the various rides I felt ancient. :rutt

Very nice series like always Harry. I like the 3th the most.

Enjoy the kids as much as you can. They don't stay small you know and you not that mobile.

    Thanks for sharing,

Thanks, when a bird is busy eating you can get fairly close to them if you are careful.

Hi Harry....I like #3 the best also. Is that a carp he has? I was at Universal on Thursday also. I should have been able to spot you in a crowd as small as thatrolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif . Did you go to both parks? You probably walked right past me if you got there in the morning. I am usually standing between the movie theater and Bubba Gumps and answering everyone's questions (like where's the bathroomne_nau.gif ). Better luck next time. Did you bring a camera and take any photos? We will have to compare them with Andy's.

Thanks, I got the 3rd shot as I was circling the caracara (it was backlit when I first came upon it and I was moving around to gte it front lit). As I moved to the side I was about level with him. I took a few shots at that angle but it started to get agitated and I didn't want to scare it away from a meal so I moved away.

I think it was a carp. I was at Universal on Friday and Wet 'n Wild on Thursday. I left the camera home for that trip. I wanted to be a participant in the events instead of hanging on the sidelines taking shots. Also we got soaked at both parks, definitely not camera friendly environments. :D
