    You should check into some great software called Raw Magick.

    Your probably wondering what makes this so special...well, LOTS.

    This is designed specifically for Nikon cameras & RAW files. Why load 1 curve on your camera when you can shoot raw & apply the curves afterwards? This is something you can not do in Nikon Capture. I would be using this software right now if it were Mac compatible. I just have to wait a few more months.

    Download the trial version & test it out. At the very least it will let you find the right curve for you. Pick an old image & apply every curve you can find to see what it does to an image.
