Another test drive - 1400mm

I had to give this a try just once. The first two shots were from an estimated 70 feet or so of a dove in a tree behind our rear fence and the third shot from about 40 feet of a dove on the side fence. All shots taken from my rear deck.

1D MkIIn, 500 f/4L IS + 2xTC + 1.4xTC (1400mm), tripod mounted, manual focus, cable shutter release.

Harvey, you running out of ideas or bird to shot? Hey, if i can do sandill macros, you sure can reach as far as you can to do your birds

I'm a lot nutty. I shot it wide open which ends up being f/11. Only the first converter reports to the camera so it read f/8 thru the 2xTC.

Actually, Nick, I was trying for shots of you but the birds got in the way. 1400mm BIFs ??? I'll do that right away for you. Hell, getting subject acquisition at 1400mm with a stationary subject was tough enough.
