Thanks for taking the time to comment, Maestro! I realize the others aren't such great shots, but the tell the story. Someday I hope to have the presence of mind to adjust the settings to stop to motion when I'm catching a series like that. I have such difficulty shooting and thinking at the same time. Hmmm maybe next time.

Thanks Glenn. We did enjoy ourselves. A lot of fog with the June Gloom, but it is a beautiful area and we had a relaxing time. Got a lot a different wildlife shots. It shouldn't take long for this thread to drop off the first page and then I'll share some more. No broken equipment tho - thank goodness.

Thanks for the comment. When I was a kid in CA, I thought that these were blue jays period. I didn't realize how many different types there were across the country. Go figure.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Oh, far from horrid! I didn't realize the scrub jays went so far north. I love the look of the stellar jay. I've only seen them in books. your shot shows much more vivid color. Thanks for sharing it!
