Right near where I work a pair of Ospreys has set up a nest on top of a cell tower. Haven't seen any chicks yet but Mom and Dad are keeping a watchful eye on the place. They are way up in the wild blue yonder in a place where it's tough to get a good shot. I grabbed this early this morning but the haze and bright sun took its toll

Cool! I hope nothing up there needs repair, I wouldn't want to mess with osprey parents defending a nest. eek7.gif

Actually just last Sunday there was a big article about how Rhode Island was leading the nation in providing nesting sites for Ospreys. There are none in the city I live in but I suspect they may have to build one since these guys will be back year after year now. I hope nothing on the tower needs repair. Those guys would rip an intruder to shreads. I was very far away and this guy circled and checked me out before going back to the nest and posing for his close-up

They have had to do many nesting sites for eagles here as well....these Cell towers are just the right height and shape for the big guys to nest in...they used to be crazy about hydro poles for nesting areas!

Right you are about the repair thing.lol......:grim
