I'm pretty sure..
Ok I spotted this "guy" on the way to work & it was still chilling on my drive home. Shot these from my car I was afraid I might scare it trying to get out. used all of 500mm of the Bigma. Luckily it hung around so I could shoot some & think about it & shoot at diferent settings. Man, that white is tough for me. I'd still be there but my daughter had a softball game.
& a kestrel let me back up & pop a few before it left. didn't get the focus quite right though.

I have a huge problem(one of many ) with the focus on a large bird...getting the head shot and body all in one focus......

What kind of bird is that in the first photo ?? It is very beautiful !!!!!!
Softball this late in the year ??? She must be in travel . My daughter is a pitcher , and is going to a national tournament this nxt week in North Carolina . (12U)
