    This is the kind of portrait that Family Albums are meant for.

    Technically acurate enough to qualify for a portrait and yet retain the important candid characteristics. Great image

    This is a lovely portrait. I prefer the first crop. The background is not distracting but does add some character to the image.

    You did a nice job with the fill. It provided enough light without looking "flashy". Did you dial it down?

    Elaine & Mitchell, thank you both very much!

    I used a Lumiquest Mini Softbox on a Sigma EF 500 DG Super. Really like that softbox as it quiets things down rather nicely.
