Stumbleupon?

I hope this is the correct forum to post this question in.

Looking at my statcounter activity today, I have had loads of referring URLs that are from www.stumbleupon.com.

When I click the link it mentions that something of mine was posted to a topic. (which must be why I am getting all the hits)

Is anyone familiar with this website and how it works? Should I be worried or glad about this? And I am wondering how to find my link on their topics.

Any info or help would be most appreciated.

I love STUMBLE. Keeps me entertained for hours finding all sorts of interesting websites. I know of no reason you should be concerned.

It is Stumble upon.
So this is the deal.
All those people who have the stumbleupon toolbar, can "stumble" onto interesting sites.
Also when they visit some site they like, they can click upon a "Thumbs up" sign, so the site gets a vote.
IF enough votes go to a site, it gets added to their list of "Interesting websites".

Do you need to register your site with them or sign up?

Is there any sort of tracking when your site gets hits?


It sounds like a way of getting more exposure, but I really do not have the room for another toolbar.

No registerations, you just need enough members with the toolbar to click on the thumbs up while viewing your site
