Some old infrareds

These are some of my first digital infared photos from way back in '02. I bought a Canon G1 and a Hoya R72 filter and hopped in the car for a gorgeous day trip to Biltmore Estate. I just recently came across these images again and decided to post-process some of the bracketed exposures in Photomatix as HDR. Minor color adjustment and sharpening were done in Photoshop. Any and all comments are welcome. Enjoy!

    Nice work Smithy thumb.gif IR is a lot of fun, the only annoying part back then was the limitations of the slow shutter speeds, but these days folks get their camera's converted and those limitations are then removed :D

    Quite lovely! The 2nd and 4th ones are my favorites. Glad to see some IR on this forum. Not sure why but it's rather scarce here.
